Our Story
I started Home Retreat Co. because somewhere between the to-do lists and the errands, home stopped being where we went to slow down — it became just a stop before the next obligation.
I wanted that to be different. Not with another home goods store trying to sell everything to everyone, but with a smaller, more deliberate one — built around a simple idea: home should give something back to the people living in it. A place you can retreat to, even for a few minutes, without needing to book a trip to get there.
So in 2026, I launched Home Retreat Co. under GALE LLC. I'm building it carefully and on purpose — working directly with the suppliers behind each product before I'll put my name behind it, because I'd rather offer a handful of things I believe in than a catalog full of things I haven't checked myself.
That's still the whole idea, one product and one relationship at a time.

We deliberately keep our catalog narrow. Rather than trying to be a general home goods store, we're focused on the categories that support real rituals — the kind of things people build a habit around, not just look at.

At Home Retreat Co., we've built our store around a simple idea: connect you with premium products from trusted manufacturers without the added costs of traditional retail. Rather than stocking inventory in our own warehouses, we partner directly with industry-leading brands and suppliers—including Orivon Wellness, the maker of our Auris cedar sauna and cold plunge collection—to deliver exceptional wellness and outdoor living products.
When you place an order, it ships directly from our manufacturing partners' U.S. facilities to your doorstep. This direct-to-customer model allows us to offer a broader selection, competitive pricing, and faster delivery while ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality. It also allows us to focus on what matters most: carefully curating exceptional products and providing outstanding customer service to help you create your own home retreat.

By trade, I work in education administration. But home improvement has been my hobby and my genuine interest for years — I love taking a space and making it better, both in how it looks and how it actually functions, until it's somewhere you want to be instead of just somewhere you are.
That interest turned into real experience: renovation, construction, design, and the kind of hands-on work that teaches you what's actually built well versus what just looks good in a photo. Home Retreat Co. is that experience applied to a simple idea — that home should be a retreat, not just a place to manage.
I'm personally involved in every part of this business right now, from vetting suppliers to choosing what goes in the catalog. If it's on Home Retreat Co., I've looked at it closely myself.
